Does the SIM card have a fixed public IP or a dynamic private IP?

By default, the SIM card has a dynamic private IP (IPv4).

To request a fixed public IP (IPv4), follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the IoT Portal (link) using your username and password.
  2. Click the SIM card number to access "SIM Card Details".
  3. Click "Request Public Fixed IP".

  4. Click "PROCEED" to confirm.

    After submitting the request, wait for the confirmation email.

Private Users

Activation: €30

Monthly fee: €2.50

Prices include VAT

Business Users

Activation: €25

Monthly fee: €2

Prices exclude VAT

To activate the fixed public IP, you must provide the fixed public source IP address of the device or web server remotely communicating with the device where the Things Mobile SIM card is inserted. Additional source public IPs cost €5 each.
