How is data traffic charged on the SIM card? Is 1 kB charged even if the connection is smaller?

Data traffic is billed in 1 kB increments.

Every network connection attempt is charged starting from 1 kB, regardless of the actual data used. This means that even if the connection uses less than 1 kB, a minimum of 1 kB will still be charged.
