What is the "Disconnect" button for?
The "Disconnect" button is used to temporarily interrupt the data session of a SIM card. This is useful when the device needs to remain unused for a limited period.
When a SIM card is disconnected:
- Any connection attempts to the network are charged at 1 kB or 10 kB, depending on the operator, and deducted from the SIM card's remaining data balance.
- Once the remaining data is exhausted, the SIM card is automatically "locked," even if an automatic recharge is active.
- Connection attempts contribute to the network access costs for the current billing month.
- The SIM card can still receive SMS messages.
Tip: Use the "Disconnect" feature only when the device will be unused for a limited time, as the SIM card may incur costs due to connection attempts.
