Is the SIM card I purchased already activated?

The SIM card you purchase needs to be activated, which you can do yourself by following a few simple steps:

  1. Log in to the IoT Portal by clicking this link: https://www.thingsmobile.com/it/login and entering the credentials (username and password) you received via email when your account was activated.

    If you can’t find the credentials, you can recover them by clicking here: Recover password.

  2. Add the SIM card by clicking the "ADD SIM card" button in the left menu.
  3. Enter the "SIM card number" starting with +88 and the identification code, which starts with 89. Both are printed on the back of the SIM card.
  4. Click "PROCEED".
  5. Select a pay-as-you-go plan from the available options.
  6. If you wish, select a Data Package (optional).
  7. Set up automation (we recommend the default option).
  8. Assign a name and a tag (optional).
  9. Click "PROCEED".
  10. Download the contract summary.
  11. On the "Activation Summary" page, click "PROCEED" to confirm.

Finally, wait for the confirmation email regarding the activation.
