What is the source public IP address required when requesting a public static IP?

To activate the public static IP service, you need to provide the source public IP address of the device or web server that communicates with the device where the Things Mobile SIM card is installed.

Important: The following ranges are private IP addresses, not public IPs:

  • 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
  • 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
  • 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255

Also, IPs of the type 5.x.x.x are not valid if detected from the device where the Things Mobile SIM card is installed.
