How long does it take for the SIM to disconnect automatically from the network due to lack of data traffic?
The SIM card will automatically disconnect from the network when there is no more data traffic available to initiate new sessions. If the SIM card runs out of data and is not recharged automatically, it may be blocked for lack of available data. In this case, any ongoing data session will be terminated.
If this happens, we recommend logging into the IoT portal to check the account credit and the automation associated with the SIM card. If the automation is set to manual, remember that you will need to add MB to the SIM card balance using the RECHARGE MB button after reactivating the SIM card with the REACTIVATE button.
If the automation is set to Default, but the recharged MB are not enough to maintain the data session, we suggest creating a new automation in the AUTOMATIONS section of the IoT portal with a higher MB auto-recharge amount, and linking it to the SIM card using the MATCH AUTOMATION button.
