I sent an SMS but it hasn't been sent and is showing as "inserted." What does that mean?

The "inserted" status means that the SMS has been generated correctly but hasn't been sent or delivered to the destination device yet. This can be due to several reasons:

  • Message content check: Make sure the SMS content is correct and aligns with the intended configuration or query for the device.
  • Network signal: Ensure that the destination device is in an area with a strong signal. If the signal is weak, the SMS might stay in the network, and multiple attempts might be needed for it to be sent and delivered.
  • Device memory: Check if the destination device has enough available memory to receive new SMS messages.
  • Network coverage: If the SMS doesn't change to "delivered," double-check the network coverage and the device's condition.
