How to configure your SIM card in a device

To ensure your device works properly, follow these setup instructions:

  1. Insert the SIM card correctly into the device.
  2. Enable mobile data.
  3. Enable data roaming.
  4. Set the APN name to: TM.

  5. Leave the username and password fields empty.

    Make sure the device automatically connects to an operator.

    • If it doesn't, manually select an operator from those available in the coverage section: Coverage Area.
  6. Verify that the device is working properly.

Note: If you need to configure the APN via SMS, ensure that the command is correctly received by your device. When sending SMS from another operator to the Things Mobile SIM card, remember to include 00 or + before the Things Mobile number (e.g., 00882.. or +882..). Similarly, when sending an SMS from Things Mobile to another operator, use 00 or + before the international dialing code of the country (e.g., 0039 or +39 for Italy).
