The SIM card is still pending activation, what should I do?
If you purchased a Things Mobile SIM card from the online shop and it appears as "Pending activation" in your IoT Portal, follow these steps:
Log in to the IoT Portal
Go to: https://www.thingsmobile.com/login
Enter the username and password you received by email when your account was activated.
If you can’t find your login details, recover them here: Recover credentials
Select the SIM card
Find the SIM card in the portal and select it by ticking the checkbox next to the MSISDN number (starting with +88).
Activate the SIM card
Click the ACTIVATE button (light bulb icon), then click PROCEED.
Choose a plan
Select a pay-as-you-go plan. You can also add a data package (optional).
Set up an automation
Link an automation to the SIM. We recommend using the default automation.
Personalize the SIM (optional)
Add a name and tag for the SIM, if desired. Click PROCEED to continue.
Download the contract summary
Review and download the contract summary shown during the process.
Confirm the activation
On the "Activation summary" page, click PROCEED to confirm.
Wait for confirmation
You’ll receive an email once the activation is complete.
If you followed all the steps but still see "OPERATION IN PROGRESS" next to the SIM card, please contact customer support at support@thingsmobile.com to check the activation status.
