What should I do if I receive an error message when adding a shared data package?

If you receive one of the following error messages, here’s what you can do:

  1. "Insufficient credit to manually renew the shared data package: please top up your account and try adding the package again."
    • Solution: Ensure you have sufficient credit on your account. Perform a top-up and then attempt to add the shared data package again.

"There was an issue with the shared data package you selected: please contact customer support by sending an email to support@thingsmobile.com, including your username (email address you registered with) and the shared data package you tried to add."

    • Solution: Contact customer support with the necessary details so they can investigate and assist you in resolving the issue.

"The maximum number of SIM cards for the shared data package has been reached: you cannot add more SIM cards to the shared data package you selected, but you can add a new shared data package."

    • Solution: If the limit for SIM cards in your shared data package has been reached, consider adding a new shared data package for additional SIM cards.

"The shared data package is not available: please select another shared data package."

    • Solution: Choose a different shared data package and try again.

If the issue persists after following these steps, don’t hesitate to contact customer support for further assistance.
