Why does the SIM card frequently disconnect when connected to a specific operator?

The SIM card automatically connects to the operator with the strongest signal in the area. However, even if an operator has good coverage and signal strength, disconnections may still occur due to issues with the specific cell the SIM is connected to.

If your device allows it, you can manually select a different operator from the list of available networks in the area to avoid this issue.

Alternatively, you can change the roaming profile assigned to your SIM card by selecting a different one from the available options.

By default, the SIM card uses a multi-network, multi-operator roaming profile. If you're experiencing issues with a specific operator, you can assign a roaming profile that excludes that operator. This will restrict the SIM card to connecting only to the operators allowed in the selected profile.

You can view the available roaming profiles in the IoT portal under "Roaming profiles".

To assign a new profile, go to "SIM card list" in the IoT portal, select your SIM card, and click on "Change roaming profile".
